NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact Review

I am a huge fan of makeup. I have tons and tons of makeup and 90% of it comes straight from NYC! Straight from the city that never sleeps, NYC New York Color offers products with uptown style at realistic, down-to-earth prices, from $0.99 - $4.99. The energy, style, and color of New York City shines through the wide range of shades, textures and innovative products.  You can always depend on NYC to deliver  the most on-trend products & shades hot off the runway!

I fell in love with NYC the first time I tried their eyeliners. Over the years they have maintained that connection with their consumers and provided the hottest new products.  NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact is no different!

It comes in many different shades to enhance every eye color and look.  Each one contains primer, illuminator, and four shadow shades. Each is labeled clearly  for easy use. They are specifically coordinated to intensify and enhance your eye color. I normally use browns and golds just because I am pale so darker colors stand out too much on me and lighter colors look horrible IMO.

I received the "Dark Shadows" Shade for my review and at first, my initial thought was that it was way too dark for me. I had to try it though, after all it's NYC and I have yet to be disappointed by them. It has colors of white, black, and grey which are great for that sought after smokey eye look that I had yet to master. The shadow was easy to apply and glided on smoothly. While it was a little dark, I actually got a few compliments based off of it. So maybe it was only me that thought it was too dark..
Mr. TCMS even complimented me and he NEVER does that! Coincidence? I think NOT!!

It was shimmery and looked great so of course I was impressed after the first day and continue to wear it. The shadow lasts all day, which is a huge plus. Most shadows I have tried fade or rub off, but NYC has mastered it! I have noticed some creasing when I use the primer, but not much. Even new uses will find it easy to use as you can find step by step instructions on the back.  I honestly love the new look that NYC has provided me. I plan to purchase a few of the other shades and see how well they work out for me as well.

Purchase it!
You can purchase it at a SRP of $4.99 at chain drugstores nationwide. I have spotted these at CVS, Walmart, and my local Walgreens.
