How to Organize Coupons

There are many ways to organize your coupons. Personally, i prefer the binder method, but you may find that the binder method isn't for you. In that case, don't give up.. find a system that works for you!

File Method
Cutting coupon inserts can take a ton of time and  some people don't like to spend their time doing it. Especially since you are not going to use every coupon you cut.
Many people like to  use the file method which is where you get a small file cabnit (the plastic one from walmart works great) and file your entire inserts by date. The tab on each of your folders would name the insert type (ss, rp, etc.) as well as the date  Example: SS 9/16

This method is great for those of us who do not have a lot of time to clip and organize our coupons. The downside is that you won't have the coupons you need when you run into a clearance or unadvertised deal at the store. This would then cause another trip to happen if you wanted that sale...

Binder Method
I personally use this one. I love it, but I do admit that it takes time to keep organized. It's simple once you  get the hang of it, but it can be overwhelming at first.  You simply use base ball card holders to hold you coupons. Once you cut them you place your coupons in the baseball card sleeves in the appropriate section.
This method is great because you will have all the coupons you need on you at all times. You don't have to worry about surprise unadvertised deals because you will have your coupons on you!
I will post a sneak peak at my binder later :)

Expanding File folder

This is the way I started out at first. It's a simple expanding folder and you place your coupons in by the category. Unfortunately, this doesn't wok if you have a lot of coupons. I started with one, then two, and then had to change because I had way too many coupons to fit in there and because it was horrible to use. it took me forever to find the coupon that I needed.

Others
Some people like to organize thier coupons by alphabetical order and many other ways. The 3 above are the most common. If you have another way that works for you, please feel free to comment.
