Heelys: The 2 in 1 Shoe Review!

A few years ago my boys were all hyped up about Heelys. They were in love with them and of course we went out and got them a pair.  I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review a pair because I have been looking into getting my 4 year old a pair of skates, so this was  the next best thing.

Heelys are the 2 in one shoe! They can be work as regular shoes, but you can put the wheel in and skate around too! They are fun, stylish, and comfortable.  It was hard to choose a pair because I found one that would work for each member in my family, including myself. :) I ended up going with the Helix for my daughter though. She needed/wanted  them more than the rest of us. They are pink and black, which was a must. I love how cute they are. Very stylish and girly.

My daughter has been wearing hers for a few days straight and LOVES them. She asks to wear them all the time no matter where we are going.  She hasn't quite grasped the idea of how to skate in them, but she tries and has fun doing so. Afterall she is only 4, but she has a blast with them!

She has wiped out twice, which is amazing considering how much she wears them.

I love how easy it was to put the wheels in. Simply use the  included tool to pop the bottom piece out and snap your wheels in.

The wheels will actually pop into place and you will hear a clicking noise when it is installed correctly.   I love that because I know the wheel is not going to fall out while in use, making me secure in knowing my little one isn't going to get hurt.

I LOVE that the Heelys site offers tons of information. They show you how to take the wheel out and put it back in. They have tutorials of how to skate as well as tricks your kiddos can learn along the way.
