My Dentist's Choice: Tooth Tissues review

Des was my first baby. I had NO CLUE what I was getting myself into, especially when it came to taking care of her teeth/gums. Trying to get Des to let me wipe/brush her gums when she was little was a HASSLE, even with the nice tasting baby gel toothpaste and nice soft finger brush. She HATED it!

It's important to start early though!
Starting early makes it easier when they are older because they will already be used to the routine of taking care of their teeth. If you have trouble getting your little one to let you brush their teeth, try giving them their own brush.. they might just want the independence of it.. Let them brush and then you can go back over it. If you still have problems try to distract them while you brush their teeth or maybe try different flavors of toothpaste.

I was thrilled when I came across My dentist's Choice: tooth tissues. They are disposable bamboo wipes used to clean your baby's teeth and gums. They can be used from birth to approximately 16 months. To top it all off they were created by dentists! They are not flavored because infants don't need the artificial flavoring. The pouch is resealable  so they are easy to take with you in your diaper bag or purse. They are N.P.A. certified, natural, fluoride-free, paraben-free, and contain xylitol, which is proven to help fight cavities.

Des loves them!
I no longer have to fight to get a tooth brush in her mouth and fight to brush her teeth. She gladly rubs them across her teeth and gums.It was nice to know that  it would be easy to clean her teeth even when we are on the go. The no flavor factor wasn't an issue either. It doesn't bother Des at all.  I definitely recommend this to all parents or expecting parents.

Buy it!
You can purchase tooth tissues for as low as $4 ( plus S&H)  on their site.
You can also  check to see if they are sold in a store near you.

Cleaning your baby's teeth and gums might be tricky, especially if you are introducing toothpaste for the first time. Using dental wipes like this for your baby's teeth and gums is an advisable oral care habit, which will promote healthy oral cavity.

I’m glad you chose to go green for your baby’s dental care,
Chantal. That’s the best you could possibly do for a first timer. You know
dentistry usually means using a lot of chemicals, which are harmful for the
infant’s sensitive mouth. Way to go for this all-natural baby wipes!

It’s a fact that not all children will quickly take to the small finger rubber brush designed for children’s teeth. It’s also a fact that many children won’t really sit still long enough for you to be able to brush their teeth for them properly. This is why I think baby teeth wipes are so great; they get the job done quickly, and without hurting your baby’s teeth.
