I scream, you scream, we all scream for icecream!
Often times, people overlook store brands for more popular name brand products. This happens for many reasons. Some are scared that the store brand products don't stand up to the name brand products and some have had a bad experience so they write off all store brand products. Bi-Lo has really stepped their game up with the store brand products. I love them! they are just as good if not better than the more popular name brand products. One I really love is their Sweet Dreams Icecream. I tried 3 of the flavors and was EXTREMELY impressed with them.
First i tried the Cookies & Cream. The texture was just as it should have been. I loved the crunch of the cookies mixed with the soft creaminess of the ice cream. It was a great combination!
Next, I tried the Southern Peach Flavor. This one had to have been my favorite! I love peach.. ANYTHING! So peach ice cream was a must! I loved that it wasn't overly sweet like many of the name brand ice creams I have tried previously. It had more of a natural taste to it , more of a home made taste sort of speak! I LOVED it!
Lastly, we tried the Vanilla Fudge Swirl. This was my kids favorite. It was a nice mixture between vanilla ice cream and soft creamy fudge. It was SUPER yummy. my kids each had two bowls .. Would have been more but I had to stop them while they were ahead. :)
As you can see, Store Brand Products often times are just as good as name brand products. You might come across one or maybe even two that don't stand up to their name, but the majority of the time they are just as good; especially at Bi-Lo. I have never come across one of their store brand products that didn't meet or exceed my expectations.
