shopping around to get the most of your coupon

( I apologize in advance that  I forgot to take a pic of the cereal on the shelf at Bi-lo, so I took a pic of it on my receipt)

Often times we see a deal and think wow, i can save $$$$ with this coupon. What a great deal!

Sadly, Often times we are wrong- It's a newbie mistake we have all made..

So, Let's learn the difference....

At my local Wal-mart the Pebbles Marshmallows cereal is $2.48

 Pebbles Marshmallows cereal $2.48 each

-$1.50 coupon from All You magazine

$0.98 OOP

 At my local Bi-lo Pebbles Marshmallows cereal is $3.29 each

Pebbles Marshmallows cereal  $3.29

-$1.50 coupon from All You magazine

$1.79 OOP 

 

In this case, I will save more going to my local Wal-mart to grab this deal. 

I save $0.81 more on each box I buy at walmart compared to Bi-lo. 

Yes if Bi-lo had the cereal on a Buy One get One deal or maybe another sale, It would have made it more worth While for us, But with the cereal not being on sale, it wasn't that great of a deal. 

Remember to shop around before you grab a spur of the moment deal.

You may just find a better deal at a different store.

( as long as the other store isn't too far out of the way..wal-mart and Bi-lo are right around the corner for me)
