More than ever, I need to take control over my life. The past two years have been amazing, but I look at pictures from two years ago and I don't see the same woman standing here today.
Almost 2 Years ago, I gave birth to the most amazing little girl. She is funny, smart, beutiful, but most of all MINE. My little girl is me made all over and its so amazing to be blessed with such a wonderful child.
I didn't notice it until about 6 months ago but over the past 2 years i have gained weight. weight that I now feel like I can't lose no matter how hard i try. It's not that I eat the wrong foods or that I dont exercise. I just tend to eat at the wrong times, and dont portion things correctly. Little things add up and before you know it... You have completely transformed who you are, who you want to be, the way you look. your self esteem, Everything!
Being overweight causes so many health concerns and many personal issues that can't be erased.
Thats why I started this series, Losing for a cause.
It doesn't matter what the cause but find a reason within you to change, whether its lose weight, spend less time on the phone or computer, work less, spend less, spend more time with your kids, Etc. The options are endless, but find a goal.
Together we will track your progress, support each other, give tips and advice, together we can make it!
My Goal is to lose atleast 30 pounds.
My cause.. My daughter, I don't want to gain weight and then not be able to play with my daughter, not be able to take care of her, or not be healthy for her.
My commitment: starting today I will keep track of what I eat, When i exercise, and my weight loss.
What is your goal & cause? How are you going to commit to that change?
